Garden update… January was a very wet month. While our heirloom silverbeet and marigolds have not liked the constant damp weather, the turmeric and stevia have flourished. The first flower is emerging from the turmeric at the moment and took some photos this afternoon so thought it would be nice to share. Our first harvest of turmeric was last year, after Sharon (who makes the Collaborate jewellery) gave us our first bulbs. Fresh turmeric is great in Sarah’s curries too.
